If we had to say what writing is, we would have to define it essentially as an act of courage.

-Cynthia Ozick

Lots of people think about writing but only a few actually write.  Excuses abound: no time, no place, no focus, nothing to say.  The real issue, however, is usually fear.  Experienced and wise writers continue to offer the same consistent encouragement: the only way to write is to write.  This web page is for writers, all kinds of writers, who though very different still have one thing in common--the desire to write.  I have included here a brief bibliography and a wide variety of internet links which cover a very broad spectrum of writing.  There is something here for everyone.  So, get out your preferred writing utensils and begin to fulfill that dream "to be a writer."
